Maldon ghost walks

Originally started in August 2012, Maldon Ghost Walks is the product of Mike and Drew Steel, two brothers who have lived around Maldon for most of their lives; with Drew as a professional actor, and Mike's interest in history, the two began the walk after finding out about the interesting past of Maldon. Running since 2010, the walk's stories include our all time favourites; with a haunting atmosphere and ghostly tales, you are invited to enter into the world of spooks and ghouls that those two poor brothers unwittingly ventured into...

The walk is approximately an hour and a half long and includes areas that may be poorly lit or on uneven surfaces, some areas may be difficult for disabled people to access. The walk is suitable for all ages, and is conducted with entertainment and fun at every corner, those of a nervous disposition may wish to restore their spirits at one of the many fine pubs after the walk (recommendations may be made during the walk; of course, they are all full of spirits)

Private Walk Bookings

If you have a large party (15+) and are interested in having a walk at a time when walks are not running, or even as a separate walk during the time that public walks are running, private walks can be arranged and are priced depending on the group. Refund Policy for Bookings

The Maldon Ghost walk offers refunds on any bookings, if the booking is cancelled by the customer 72 hours in advance of the walk, or if the walk is cancelled. We do not offer refunds based on weather, unless it leads to the cancellation of the booked walk. If you are unable to attend a walk you have booked, do reach out to us at: maldonghostwalk@gmail.com to see if there is aspace for us to move your booking to a later walk.
